Student & Alumni Profiles
At the University of Florida College of Medicine we’ve never lost sight of the fact that our work begins with a single student. Only by following that ideal can we ultimately improve the health of our patients, our students’ future patients and the communities we serve.
For more than 50 years, it has been our responsibility to produce the next generation of doctors, scientists, clinical researchers and health policy leaders to significantly impact the health and well-being of people in Florida and throughout the world. In our goal to maintain an exceptional academic medical center, we not only are embracing the latest technology for use in teaching and learning, we also are transforming the shape of medical education. UF’s nationally unique academic health center, which includes a major health system and six health profession colleges, provides opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and research, advanced clinical simulation technology and team training with a diverse patient population.
The UF College of Medicine is a dynamic and exciting medical school, where clinicians, scientists and students work together toward the same goal of helping others. I hope this brochure begins to answer some questions you may have about the College of Medicine at UF, and I invite you to learn more about our inspired faculty and the unique opportunities we can provide to the most dedicated and passionate future physicians.
